In 1986 the Hispanic world was introduced to Lili Estefan, and her signature smile, when she joined the cast of "Sabado Gigante." "Sabado Gigante," broadcast in the United States on the Univision Television Network, is the number one rated and viewed international television program, transmitted to 25 other countries including Chile, Spain and México, reaching 80 million viewers weekly.

Lili, a Cuban native, has gained worldwide popularity during her career as an entertainer that spans more than a decade. Lili recently ventured into the movie world in the Guava Films Production short film titled "Balloons." Lili appears in the role of "Ada" in this film, which was received with great acclaim at the South Beach Film Festival in April of1997.

Another dream was realized for Lili recently when she earned her own TV segment on "Noticias 23," Univision's highly rated local news broadcast in Miami. This segment, titled "Lili Cámara Acción" presents entertainment news and celebrity interviews.

Lili's career in radio and as a reporter began in 1990 with TV Marti, a United States Information Agency media project. There, she hosted her own entertainment segment within TV Marti's newscast. In 1992 Lili's charm and charisma brought her to 107.5 FM in Miami, where she hosted her own morning program titled "Alegre Despertar," which aired weekdays from 6 A.M, to 10 A.M. In 1995 she joined Romance 106.7 FM, Miami's highest rated radio station. Within three months, her show reached fourth place in the state of Florida.

Lili has also hosted numerous specials on Univision including "Nuestra Belleza International," "Festival Calle Ocho," "Premio lo Nuestro," "Siempre Selena," "Luis Miguel en el Dia de San Valentin," "Cámara Indiscreta," "Festival Presidente en Santo Domingo," and "Feliz Año Nuevo," a New Year's Eve celebration which has become a tradition in U.S. Hispanic households.

Drawing on her vast experience in the entertainment industry, Lili began penning her own music column in 1993. Her column appears in Vista Magazine, a national monthly insert with a circulation of 1,200,000 and published in major U.S. Hispanic markets in 37 newspapers.

Along with her many other achievements, Lili is a very successful spokesperson and model, having appeared in television commercials for prestigious companies such as Toyota, Coca Cola, Colgate, Polaroid, Miller Beer, Mazola, Libby's, Payless Shoe Source, and Living Well Lady Fitness Centers among others.
